btw I recommend Mintex 1155 as a reasonable road / track pad - cheapest at Camskill. PFC97's at Design 911 not much more for an S2, and a different league of performance, but not kind to wheels or paintwork.

S02's are good tyres - getting the pressures right makes a huge difference as they tend to climb very high on a trackday. I usually adjust them to run 30-32 hot.

We must get a 944 track gathering this year
 
Crossed wire I think, 'overlapping' is where you are braking and selecting the correct gear at the same time. Theoretically you shouldnt overlap, although the latest book fudges this somewhat.

No pushing and pulling either!
