Dear all R1,

Caitlin and I are going to come along to our first R1 club night tomorrow. We're R2 from Dundee, and the only R1 events we've done are Fish and Chip runs.

Please keep an eye out for us as we don't really know many folks from R1. We'll appear in a red 944, and are both 21 so perhaps not typical PCGB demographic!

Looking forward to meeting you all,

George

Not sure I'll make it tomorrow and I seem to recall Donald said he would miss this month but I assume others will be there. If you enter the Dakota through the right hand of the two doors so going into the bar the usual table taken is the second of the tables on the right - table for 8 or so with high stools.
Don't necessarily take there being no Porsches in the car park to mean no-one is there.

Unfortunately I will not make meeting tonight. Heading for ferry today and fortnight in Germany and France. Enjoy your first meeting with R1.

I was the sole R1 representative (!) at the Dakota last evening and met with George and Caitlin. We had a drink and a pleasant chat, and left relatively early. Hopefully there will be more of us at the August meeting/Curry night!

John

Unfortunate but I'm sure it was documented that a few of us were away to Silverstone Classic this plus it is the main holiday season.
