We were invited to 'The Festival of Jurby' again this year and had a great turnout of 6 cars for the event. There were loads of people there with classic motorbikes and cars. There was a fly past by a Spitfire aircraft and appearances by TT riders Connor Cummings, Nick Jefferies and John McGuinness.
All the TT and Manx Grand Prix Trophies were on display and artist Rachael Clegg was there selling her TT Calendar with her posing, half naked, at famous spots on the TT course.
Our cars never attract as much attention as the motor bikes do on the Isle of Man but there was more interest later. I met someone who was over to watch the Manx GP, from Germany, who had a 993 and had just ordered a new 991.
It's tiring all this relaxing and enjoying yourself. Nigel trying to get his exhaust a bit cleaner using the back of his jacket!
Anyone see Jeremy Clarkson driving the Peel P50 car on Top Gear?
The Spitfire gave us a nice display.
George Shuttleworth (Formby) look alike was a real character. He could sing and play the banjo too.
There were plenty of other cars too.
Thanks to all those who attended and to Julian for organizing our attendance.
