Febuary 20th Run Out

Have a good run guys...It's too far for me...I would need to be back by 12noon at the latest.[:(]

There were 4 of us (myself, Highfield, Jaytay, and Drummerboytom) and an excellent time was had by all. Bit too much traffic in places (we followed a tractor for bloody miles), but some really good runs. There was a nutter in a Citroen C3 in the middle of us for a while, cornering on his wing mirrors trying to keep up, and a white van man who was straightlining the corners which made him a bit awkward to get by, but generally the combination of clear dry weather and good open roads was fab.

Soory I had to miss out, just returned from an appointment with Mickey Mouse in Paris!!

My MOT's up this week, I've got my fingers crossed[]

Hopefully I'll be out again next run, although NOT Sun 13th March

[FONT=Trebuchet MS"]good time had by all, would like to do that again but carry on for brecon or abbergavenny next time, proof that smaller number can always be a benefit for a more rapid day out, although larger numbers may enjoy a more sedate drive[;)] Cant wait for the next one, lets hope the weather conditions are as good as yesterdays, cheers

Hi All,
Glad to hear you had a good day out, I wish I could have come along but my car is still off the road till next weekend when she gets taxed again. [:)]
The NW region are organising a run out on Sunday 06/03/05 (yes it's Mothers Day) you can find details
You can see most of the area I am talking about on this map:
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=300000&Y=350000&width=700&height=400&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=0&scale=500000&left.x=8&left.y=143

Nicola handily noticed that Portmerion entry is free till 31st March but you have to print out the form from the website:
http://www.portmeirion-village.com/en/form-winter-visits.php?sM_id=18&ssM_id=79
BUT I can print some extra ones and bring them along on the day.

Thoroughly enjoyable run out on what was the best morning of the year - cold but bright. Roads quiet, bar the previously mentioned white van and citroen, making for a quick and very scenic run. Roll on 20th March.

By the way John, Shelsley Walsh is on the 14th May - not sure if the Porsche Speed Championship is there on that day, but will no doubt get the schedule soon - makes for a good run out and spectate.

Excellent route !
Thanks JayTay .
Am i right in thinking we didn't pass a single "cash machine" .
I hope so, as my kit didn't pick any up [8|]

we passed around 3-4 cash machines all DS2 underground jobbies[:D]
but we were fine
Cheers
john
