Hey guys
quick one thats started up this morning. After a brisk drive in the midday sun parked up for 40 mins and upon returning found my fan to still be on. have had the thermoswitch in the radiator fail before and when it happened the fan would come on cut out for 5 seconds then come back on again, now its just always on with no breaks. am i right to change the g10 relay? engine temp is fine, no unexpected fluids anywhere and car running fine, any suggestions or advice? thanks.
James

update:
figured it out in the end, didnt beleive it could be another thermoswitch issue as the symptoms were different and i only changed mine about 6 months ago so was in the process of ordering a new relay (£50 was the cheapest i could find one for) and thought if im going that route i might as well take my existing relay apart. on doing so could see one of the two electromagnetic switches in there had fused itself in the on position all it took was gentle persuading with the tip of a screwdriver and a bit of wet and dry to clean up the contact faces and was as good as new on reassembly!
i love it when a plan comes together :)

Drinks on you ?
Your 50 odd quid better off [:D]
Another problem sorted for no dina, well done.

whoah whoah ive been generous enough recently! cheers though just thought id put on the solution if anyone else has the problem, not trying to bask in my own glory at all ;)
