Scott sent out an email last week explaining the format .I think you just park in the public car park area see the show and leave around 3pm and drive to another show with Region 2 where they are holding a BBQ.No doubt Scott will send out a wee reminder
Latest detail I have from Scott.
Family Day at Glamis (This was planned for Sunday 14th July) PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE TO 13th July
Unfortunately the day we had planned on the Sunday at Glamis cant happen. Glamis was over subscribed and we cant get enough entry space for R1 and R2, As a public entry we aren't allowed a BBQ or Gazebo either. SO !,
I have changed the date to Saturday 13th July. We are still going to attend Glamis but just as general public. We will meet slightly later for a 9.30am departure from "˜Dobbies Garden' Centre near Stirling and drive up and park as general public. We will then aim to leave around 3pm for a further drive up to Classic Autosports at Inverkeilor who have invited R1 and R2 and many other classic car fans along for their annual BBQ. We visited Classic Autosports a couple of years ago and it will be nice to see some of their projects again. Their BBQ runs all day from midday till midnight so you can just meet us there if you like. (Please let me know who is attending so I have an idea of numbers)
Final reminder about Glamis Castle "" Scottish Transport Extravaganza. Sat 13th July.
Weather is to be dry but there is a chance of rain (temp 21deg so still warm)
We aren't allowed the gazebo but bring along your chairs and picnic.
Departing Dobbies, 9.30am sharp so should be on site for about 10.45am. (its 60mile to Glamis from Dobbies) We will meet R2 on A928 (Dundee Road) before heading into Glamis
Aim to leave at 3pm to head to Classic Autosports for a BBQ (22miles)
Regards
Scott.
