Eynsham Saturday Night

Excuse me if I'm being thick but I haven't seen anything advertised as an alternative to the Gala Dinner on Saturday night. Does anyone know of anything that is happenning or are we having to make our own arrangements? Sounds like an impromptu barbeque somewhere. There is only myself in our group from R18 who isn't going to the Gala Dinner (I'm not buying a tie for one night!).
If Alan or Susan from Scotland is reading this please email me as Alan and I talked about this at Woodvale. Or if anyone in this region knows Alan & Susan please bring this to their attention, sorry I don't know their surname, I think Alan has a 996 and Sue a 993 .

Cheers,

Fred

Alan and Sue Laing - send pm to audirs2 and Alan should receive it.

I think they may be touring North England and may be doing so for another week..

Cheers
Kevin

The 944 pyromaniacs will be having a BBQ and ceremonial GT3 burning (I may have the details slightly wrong...[;)])
They are a friendly bunch if they've remembered thier medication, so why not join them (we will be after the dinner is over [8D])

Hello Mark,
Good idea (seeing that I have a 944 so I won't feel out of it). Do you know who is organising the bbq so that I can make a contribution to the food etc.
Cheers,

I don't think there is any "official" organisers - it always seems to be bring your own BBQ & grub, and away you go... All very impromptu...

Then again, Claire and I are veggie, so we always bring our own disposable BBQ and food and we may have just missed any particular organisation happening?

In any case I have no doubt you would be welcomed [:)]

Disposable BBQ and a couple of sausages it is then.
As I'm in the hotel looks like making a flask of coffee in the room and Bobs your cross dressing auntie.[:)]
Cheers,

Cheers,
I like that quote I think I will use it some time .I know that there are a few guys comming down from God's country and are not booked into the gala bun fight so you could team up with them, perhaps Alan will arrange things

Brian

Hello Brian,
Thought Alan was from Scotland not Yorkshire (the tykes say that is God's country)(more like god forsaken country) and you can use that quote as well if you like.
Yes Alan and I discussed this very thing, the group of Scots and myself who are not going to the Gala Dinner (bit presumptuous for me!).
What we need is a little bit of planning and we could have ourselves a really good evening. Perhaps even getting the meat reserved at a local butcher for collection. Once I've heard from Alan I'll probably start a new topic on the forum and see how many are interested at what they are prepared to do.
Cheers,

p.s. No offence intended to Yorkshire folk (even if you had to get someone else to read it for you)[;)][;)]

Hi Fred
Have been trying to email and phone you with no joy.
My emails have been bounced back 6/7 times to all 3 email addresses
you gave me.Have only phoned once, by the time i get round to phoning
im concerned its to late.
The meal Raymond is booking has space for you if you would like to come along
hence the freinds tag on the end of Scottish members.

Cheers Al

hello Al,
I've been in contact with Raymond, I have got three of us coming to the restaurant and so everything is sorted.
My email went stupid for a few days, it would only allow one email to be received. Finally downloaded 991 emails onto my laptop (981 were rubbish!) and now everything appears to be okay.
Please give it another go then I will have your email address.

Cheers,

Just to say 'Thankyou' to the Scots and the Irish for the craic on Saturday night. Hope all of you enjoyed yourselves as much as I did.
"Bobbie, Put those glasses down"
Cheers,

Agreed, big thanks from Katie and I also....you made us feel very welcome over the whole weekend and think we've made some good new friends!

Cheers to all and hope to see you again soon...perhaps at Croft on Sept 21st with PCGB????....

PS ..and if Gordon brings the price down on that red left hooker make sure I find out before he gives it to a trader[;)]
