Excessive tyre wear

Blimey. I have done 3200 on my new rears and they are looking worn and its only a C2. Your doing well I reckon...

I have only done around 15,000 miles and am on my second set of rear tyres. Is this about right?[FONT=verdana, geneva"]

Oh yes. I get <10K for rears. Fronts last longer - but then then nails and screws always go for the fronts.

Regards
Neil

Riverproaudio....Are they wearing evenly across the tread?

My rears are like new on almost the whole width but shot completely on the inside edge (Rears) Done 5k

15,000 miles, eight trackdays and I still have some meat left on the rear Pirelli's.

Fair mileage I think, I used to get 3K on my previous TT, but assume something was amiss (had it checked twice)

Current TT did about 12k on the rears prior to changing them..
Never replaced any fronts[8|]

Coming to the end of my rear SO2's at about 8K but fronts only about 60% gone which I am not surprised at compared to previos 2wd 911's. I owuldn't recommend the Bridgestones by the way - will go Michelin next time.

Maurice.
Boost enhanced to 0.9 bar (old X50 spec - 430bhp).
Pressures 36/40 cold road (stops my fillings being shaken out)
28/32 cold track (for max grip).
Mebbe its due to me smooth driving.Cant see any point in sliding it about - after all I am a pensioner.
