While I was collecting my 997 C2S on Friday at Reading OPC in front of me in the queue were Martin Brundle and Mark Blundell collecting their 997 Turbos. Interesting was that both had gone for the tiptronic gearbox, I guess perhaps they have other toys when they want to shift gear themselves. I also noticed that Brundle had the standard steel brakes (didn't notice what Blundell had). As they were waiting for the handover they were teasing each other about the respective options they'd selected, rubbishing the options the other had chosen.... Blundell had the last laugh though as Brundle's car wouldn't start!! They OPC staff had to get a portable battery to get it going - Oops!
