So doing some errands on the family cars this morning and had the garage door open showing the IB.

On two separate occasions, complete strangers walking passed came up to me praised the car then wanted to talk about its provenance"¦"¦"¦"¦"¦"¦"¦"¦"¦Air cooled rock!

WOW, that's a project and a half.

If the cars a keeper which I think it will be then it will be worth it in the end, but you have to be patience

Hi Paul ,
Do yoiu have some one lined up to reinstall the rear window .
Can be a difficult one so I'm led to believe .
My body man has been doing some cosmetic bits this week in my broter inlaws garage and a lot of his customers have been wandering over looking
at mine and asking questions about it .
I'm have ing the sills etc painted next week so looking forward to a few dry days before Xmas and the dreaded salt .
good luck putting it back to gether

 
YES he took it out and is a member in R26 and is a
good friend and has just finished his 944 he used to work for Auto Glass
