Saturday 4th October we are going to attend the Lakeland Motor Museum’s Classic Drive and Ride day (link below). There will be lots of classic cars to see and we will have breakfast at the excellent Cafe Ambio on site. This event is from 10am -1pm but we will head off for a drive around the lake district around 11.30am. We will head around the western lakes then up to Whinlatter pass then back through Grasmere to Ambleside and Windermere. An extended option over Honister pass is also available. We’ll finish the day with a late lunch most likely at the Boardwalk in Bowness.

Last month a Bacon Barm and coffee stall was also available on the car park.
Wednesday 15th October – Monthly Meeting –Blackpool Illuminations Drive. Leave Porsche Centre Preston at 17.45 to drive to The Air Balloon, at Blackpool Airport for a meal and then onto the Illuminations. No meeting at Garstang Golf Club. Please let me know if you will be attending the Air Balloon for a meal where it is 2 for 1 on Pub Classics all week as well as being Curry Night
Please let me know if you will want a calendar (A2 Size – 42cm X 60cm). Price around £10 but dependant on numbers ordered.

Another Drive & Lunch is being planned and the route is being finalised. This may run this year or into 2026. If you would like to organise a drive and lunch, or any other event please let me know.
‘Chippy Tea’ at either The Crow Wood or Banny’s at Nelson. Date TBA. We should have further details later this week. Please let me know if you are interested in attending to give the venues an idea of numbers.
