Hi Will,

Sales plug for the club here. We have 2 x 45 mile drives lined up for June 1 but they are strictly members only [;)] Other events available throughout the summer and broadcast via private email to over 600 members in Essex.

Come along and see us second Tuesday evening of the month at Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre in Witham. The July 8th meeting is our open car club night and BBQ with 200+ cars from different clubs attending. Might see you there?

All the best,

Greg

Also, really confused to how this works can you help???
At the mo the only discussion under "Essex" is this one I created, is this right or is there more I can't see, if so why? And how do I view more, what made me think this is that the r11 club you sed I cannot find,

Please help would really appreciate it

Thanks
Will

Hi Will,

Yes, the Essex Forum is quite quiet [:D] If you change the timeline of your search you can see the old posts. If you want more chat, the registers are much more active - 997 for you.

To join the club, details are at http://www.porscheclubgb.com/HowToJoin.aspx Cost is ÂŁ66 individual or ÂŁ69 joint member first year, falling to ÂŁ56 / ÂŁ59, or less if you pay by direct debit. That gets you 12 (excellent) monthly magazines, and lots of club offers.

Your address is automatically assigned via postcode to the nearest region - although you can elect a different one, and you can participate in as many as you like. If you PM your email address when you have your member number I will put you straight onto our mail database and give you the latest.

You'll have to ask on the 997 forum or register sec how to join up with them. Send them a pic (of your car!) and they might put it in the mag for you. They do have a reputation for tearing up the tarmac too including annual holidays to really get it out of their system.

Hope that helps,

Greg

Contact Club Office and they will do it for you. If there is a problem ask Jade to email me with your member details and I'll sort it this end.

Hi Frost!

A meet which will be right up your street is The Hare Breakfast Club, which meets on the first Saturday of each month from April to October.
The Hare is at Roxwell, near Chelmsford, but be mindful that you'll have to be parked up by at least 09.00 if you want. Good spot!

Hope to see you either there or at a Porsche Club meet soon :)

Ok so the next one is the 7th?, sounds good to me! Are you going to the one next someday from colchester/ harwich to the froize pub?
I can't wait to get on these, love a car meet, went to the goodwood meet the other week and my beetle did good ! :)

Thanks

Will, David and Kevin are now added to the Region 11 email broadcast list. If anyone else is interested please let me know - although please don't post up your email address to the world [:D]

Hey Mag Muffin,

You can come to our July meeting. Try before you buy and all that. Actually Tuesday July 8 is our BBQ night and we expect around 200 cars - lots of different marques - parked on the driving range. Everyone who drives something interesting is very welcome.

I'll push a membership brochure into your hands of course, now I know the car [;)]

See you there!

Evening chaps,

Just sold my 911 SC and splashed out on a 964. Based in Colchester where and when are the local meets to me? Don't mind a little drive, its not exactly a chore [:D]
