Is it best to replace the original or is there any other sort of stuff i can use want something in there as it will bring the noise level down a bit[:D]

also where can i buy
 
Try wrapping a few pieces of hairy string around sheets of A4 paper and then sticking them with Pritt Stick (sorry - been on the wine again!)

Various people do the ' pads' but imho they are a bit cheap looking. I have been going through the same dillema. If anyone has anything better than the foam pad things, then let me know. I have one which came out of my car, so if anyone knows of any sheet material, we can make a pattern, as the shape is quite complex.

I got a roll of padding from my local Trade place you can have a look Gav next week I hope cost like £20 a roll I have still to do the top bit.

other half havin an off day .....nothing new now wants to sell the speedster !!!

built 1999 912 org engine 69, leather seats, 912 dials 356 B steering wheel really turns heads this car. 050 disy serviced mot' ed ( silly c*& wants a Z3 )
