Does anybody find that this gives variable results when doing an oil check? I set off for a long run on Friday with 2 blobs left on the digital gauge. Over the weekend it went down to the final blob. According to the manual each one equates to 0.4l of oil. I put 0.3l of Mobil's finest in there which should be 1 or less blob and it now says it's full. Any thoughts? All level checks were done from cold.

PS If any of you are near a Costco, 5l of Mobil 1 is very cheap compared to Halfords and the like.
