The regulator is fiddly to replace and as a consequence probably a few hours labour rate. I found it easy to replace just take your time and do one thing at a time. You just need to get all the fasteners on the door card found.

They do describe sticking the membrane down using the existing glue but mine was in no condition to use again so I used a hot glue gun. I think this did the job too well so let's hope the repair lasts and I don't have to go back in.
I bought a salvaged unit from Porscha Apart. It cost about £80. Luckily my broken one was the passenger side so they are in more plentiful supply used. The unit they sent looked new.

Fabsil brushes on easily and, unexpectedly it has improved the appearance. Use a new paint brush to brush it on as it is solvent based and might dissolve old paint in a previously used brush. When it rains the water beads up and rolls off rather than soaking in so I would thoroughly recommend it.
