I have a 1985 944. How can I get the MPG indicator to work on my 944? All the other instruments work correctly. Any ideas or tips would be appreciated.

When you take the speedo out, the pick up for it is a small circuit board screwed on to the back with 2 wires going to the MPG gauge.
Thats all there is, if the board is properly seated and there is no damage to the wires, either the circuit board or the gauge is u/s and either should be cheap enough from a breaker.
I'd just buy a set of instruments and have a play.
