Hello all

The 50th anniversary classic sprint is on this weekend, is anyone else thinking about going on the Saturday?

Although Porsche did'nt have a great presence at the original event I heard there may be a 550 at least there.

Go on, you won't be here for the 100th anniversary!

OK....... call me stupid......but what is it and where.......never heard of the classic sprint.........

Headin to mondello for the P.C.I. track day though.....Vroom Vroom

Mark, do you get trackday insurance cover for these at all? Have been looking at going along to the PCI Mondello day for my first trackday but have been told that insurance cover is out of the question here in Ireland. Maybe I'm being over cautious and everyone just takes a chance?

I think everyone is definately in the dont prang it camp.

In fairness, they are well run and idiotic behaviour just isnt tolerated. The rule of thumb is that in the even of an incident, you pay for the damage to your own car.

I used to run my 89 944 S2 around there and its so much fun in that car that it should be illegal :) But its not the same in the boxster - as I'm more concious of damaging it and facing a much larger repair bill.

INSURANCE,,,,,,, it's called your right foot !
as has been said just go at your own pace and keep out of the way of faster cars, hold your line in the twisty stuff and pull over on the straights if the car behind you is faster...
just remember its not a race and there are no points for being a hero.
