Door handles/door strouds

Back to the artic silver replacements ........ does anyone know the difference between the door handle and the door stroud.

Cheers

I live in Stroud and have many doors but I don' t know of any logical connection between the two?

Simple....

The door handle is the thing you pull on to open the door and Stroud is the name shared by a number of towns and villages in England - I think one each in Gloucester, Hampshire and Surrey. Are you blonde by any chance???[:)]

A shroud is the old sheet I usually wrap the bodies in before I bury them.

The door shroud on the other hand is the bit surrounding the door handle (and forms the recess the handle sits in) Didn' t think the Boxters actually had a shroud as such.

According to the essential styling you can get artic silver door SHROUDS (apologies for the typo which lead to the subseqent pi$$ taking) for the Boxster.

Just off to Sainsburys to buy some blonde hair dye .....[:D]

Cheers

There is obviously the one you live at..... assume Gloucester???

There is a little village on the A272 just outside Petersfield called Stroud.

Surrey has one near Grayswood, just north of Haslemere, but it is hardly even a village.
