Motorsport News has been tracking progress and this week they report that the BARC (British Automobile Racing Club) is 'putting together a rescue package' with Kevin Wheatcroft, whose stated preference is to preserve the venue as a motorsport venue in spite of alternative offers. Fingers crossed.

It's good to see some hopeful news about it. In fact, my brother has already booked to go to Donington.....

This week's Motorsport News now says that a deal is done but not with whom. Six weeks of work on the circuit itself is required and this will commence mid-summer prior to a revised race program commencing in September. Great news for us all.

Bookatrack now have a saturday in September and a Sunday in October for trackdays on their calender. Anyone else tempted? [:)]

Yes please ... may not be able to do the September day due to a two week appointment in Koln, but October should be no problem ...
