Does anyone have a *standard* RS exhaust system?

As per subject line - my 993RS has a Caragraphic system - which sounds fab - but is WAY too loud for most UK circuits (especially Croft and Donnington - my two local).

Has anyone fitted an upgrade and have their factory system original lying around? If so, I'd be interested in buying it.....

How far back is your system, just silencers or right to the heads?
If just silencers, simon at porsche apart has some standard 993 silencers that will fit for around a £100 for the pair.

Thanks for that - but I believe it's back to the heads. I was kind of hoping someone had done the upgrade and kept on tripping over their old system in the garage [;)]

Do you know of any of the aftermarket systems that are 98dB? I don't want to modify the cup car but would like to do some of the club days in theRS where noise is an issue...

Dont mean to insult ur intelligence Chubby but my little rs Clubsport was 105- 108 static , warmed up properly back down to 102 ................but past the microphones at Goodwood when flat, barely 90 db ......................

And bowing to your greater wisdom Chubby Snr. ([:D])- she's been pulled off Donnington, Croft and Goodwood for the sonic boom as she went past! Static is something like 109db dropping to 101db on the track - the Caragraphic system sounds fabulous but means I can't use her for what I want - quiet days when the Cup is just out of the question [:(]

I was told the Caragraphic accounted for 20bhp of the 35 she's running over standard - I don't mind accepting the drop in power so I have the freedom of driving on the now increasing number of quiet days [:(]

I,ve got some RS back boxes, suprised you're having problems, I run the large bore Caragraphic NGT system, passes static at Oulton and drive-by at Donington

Just checked (having just fitted Cargraphic rear boxes, tips and 100 cell cats to my car) - I have the back boxes and the tips available if it helps (came of a 38,000 mile car).

I don't know...i turn my back for one minute and Agent O is flogging bits off my car [;)].....pmjt, not sure I can call you "chubby" quite yet, sorry but going to be keeping the standard exhaust system....car not kept in my garage to be tripping over. looks like you've got enough offers to keep you going though. best of luck.
