Dizzy cap /rotor arm for 944S

Further to my discovery that my dizzy cap / rotor arm need changing I checked the alanara parts compatibility list and find that the 944S has the same distributor cap as a volvo B200 available on line for £21.43.

Now, the interesting thing is, the alanara site doesn't list an alternative for the rotor arm, my question is, if the dist. cap from a volvo B200 is the same, won't the rotor arm from a B200 fit as well?

Anyone know or have used the volvo alternatives?

Hmmm , just found a picture of the Volvo B200 rotor arm and it's nothing like the Porsche 944S one[8|]

So, just need to get the best price on a genuine one.........

Wot Ed said ^^^.

Didn't know the Volvo B200 cap was the same. The Volvo 740 has the same cap as the 944S2 (I am running a Volvo part in my S2 - photos here: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=467365 ) However the 944 rotor arm is a funny design and utterly different to that on the Volvo.
