Distinctive Cayman Stolen

I would like to put the word around about a 2008 car that was taken from Northwood, Middlesex, on 22nd September.. This is a very distinctive car, being guards red with a sand beige interior, and has covered just 17,000 miles from new. I have not seen another Cayman with this colour combination. Options include bi-xenon’s, park assist, aero pack, manual, sports chrono pack, short shift gearbox, 19” SportDesign wheels, heated seats, three-spoke sports steering wheel and Porsche crests on head restraints. In addition, the Porsche Classic communication plus module was fitted.

As you might expect, it is in exceptional original condition and has probably been stolen for a collector. Nevertheless, if you would be kind enough to mention it in conversations about Porsches, it is such an unusual car that it would stand out if it appeared anywhere in public. Please contact me directly if you have information or require more details. Thank you.

Funnily enough John I’ll be in the area for a family birthday party on Saturday and will keep a look-out just in case it’s still around, although I doubt it. Unfortunately most likely it’s now in bits with the parts for sale on eBay, which is where the owner needs to be researching for any flurry of activity on 987.1 Cayman parts.

Such a shame because it looks to be a very nice example of a late Gen1 Cayman S.☹️
