hi

anyone tried the replacement LCD and the back light kit that is sold to repair a de-laminated digital clock, this is the third clock that has done this on my S, or is there a replacement (doesn't have to be digital) that is available.

Regards

Dave S

Alasdair is the man, i have recently had one of his screens fitted, just as per factory, PM Him.

Agree with the above. I fitted one of Alasdair's replacement screens recently. Not difficult to do and the result is just like new.

Likewise - I too fitted a replacement screen bought from Alasdair. Worked a treat. would fully recommend! James

Or if your feeling handy with the soldering iron, and fancy having in/out temperature gauge, take a look at this - http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=451442 Its on my to-do list!

Hi Thanks to all, I contacted Alasdair (sulzeruk), as I had time on my hands I went to see him, a great guy, a wealth of knowledge and very helpful, how he manages to do all he does is amazing, he is helping me with another problem on my 944S and nothing seems to be a bother, the digital clock fix is very simple and have ordered two, I have two other clocks and may try the in/out temp guage.
