We have a number of events coming up in the next few weeks
21st December – Monthly Meeting – Garstang Golf Club – 19.30/45. Sean Conboy will be critiquing the photographic entries for the R18 Calendar Competition, and announcing the winner.
I have given details of the calendars to those that have responded to the order request, and these will be available to collect and pay for at this meeting. We may also be having a stall of gifts to purchase and possibly a raffle. Please bring small change with you.
Please also wear a Christmas Jumper as there will be a prize for the best one.
26th December – Lakeland Motor Museum Sports & Classic Car. This is an annual event from 9.00 and is well supported with a wide variety of sports and classic cars attending. Bring your membership cars d as you should get a discount on admission to the museum. If you want lunch it is worth, but not necessary, to book a table through Café Ambio who run the catering.
1st January 2023 - Cars & Coffee Breakfast Meeting – Charity Farm, Wrightington 8.30 until 13.00. This has always been very well supported when held at The Cornerhouse in the past. Excellent breakfast available in the café. An opportunity to meet old and new members.
w/c 9th January – Visit to The Motorist. Alan Ridehalgh is planning either a mid-week, or weekend visit to The Motorist at Sherburn in Elmet, Leeds. Please let Alan know on alan.ridehalgh1952@gmail.com, if you are interested.
18th January – Monthly Meeting – Noggin & Nater to discuss events for 2023. Please come along with some suggestions of what you want to do in 2023.
4th February – Lunch at The Boardwalk Bar & Grill, Bowness, organised by Alan Ridehalgh. Meet at Barton Grange (10.30), Drive to The Boardwalk via Lakeland Motor Museum, and Coniston for lunch at13.30. Please e-mail Alan if you are interested.
For those of you who I don’t see on the 21st December may I wish you seasons greetings and we hope to see you at events in 2023.
