De-Badging the rear

I prefer the cleaner look, and it's much easier to clean. We do seem to be in a minority though!
Maybe the big no-no comes from people who think de-badging a Boxster is trying to pass it off as a Boxster S (?) [8|]

If it was a better quality badge I would leave it, but I think the car will look better without it.
(Have to check with SWMBO fits though - well, it is her car).
Thanks for the removal tips.

How about the chrome version they used on the 550 Anniversary and (I think) RS60? Or the chrome P O R S C H E they use in the Panamera?ORIGINAL: Chris_911

Mine was debadged when I got it and personally I dont like it, so if someone wants to debadge theirs and sell me your badge then drop me a PM !! LOL
I don't think they would be any good to you once removed as all the sticky stuff will be messed up. Also when you get them new they normally have a plastic covering which allows you to put the whole word on in one go and have all the correct spacing. I would have a look on ebay as Porsche would probably want silly money.

Porsche charge some £25 max so chances are you will end up paying more on ebay and end up with fakes as it is an assumption that since it is a Porsche badge it must be worth a lot more...
