I used the accessory port in the glove box to wire my mini 0806 Dash cam. I was surprised to find it is live 24/7 i.e. even when ignition is off. I have the camera running on a loop 24/7 so hopefully will catch any hit and run drivers whilst the car is parked. Despite dire warnings from other users that this would flatten the battery / cause the camera to overheat, it is working just fine ........ so far!
