Dashboard colours?

My dashboard is I believe Marine blue with the lower section linen. Part of the lower section has about 8 unsightly holes that have been drilled in the past for phone holders. I would like to repair this section with a piece from a dash on ebay. The question is are all the creamy/linen looking ones the same colour.

For example

looks darker than

Any thoughts, Thanks.

Oops, mean't to post in 944 section, could someone move it please.

There were two split colours. You want Linen. The earlier colour is Grey-Beige. Theyre frequently confused though, even by people who should know better, with G-B being called Linen. If you find a split colur blue dash then itll be right, but if youre looking for a black dash then more of them will be the earlier Grey-Beige.

Thanks Paul, another senior moment.

Simon, thanks for that. I thought from the PET that there might have been 2 colours but I wasn't sure whether they actually changed the colour on the later cars or just the name. Plenty of black ones about but I suspect finding a Marine one would be difficult. The one in the second link looks like it might fit the bill.

Yes, but the earlier colours are only in the age appropriate PET. The 1990 model PET will only have the later colours.
