Dash display stays on

I would be grateful if any of you knowledgable people can help with this issue on my 1999 cabriolet. Dash display stays on after locking and a single beep, Door lights go out. Changed both door latches and have linked out frunk, boot and glove box. Originally the remote worked but recently the only way to lock the car is to do the 3 turn emergency locking method. When I push the remote the alarm sensor lights on dash top flash without locking or unlocking.
