I popped in to see David at DDB detailing this afternoon and D&G Motor Engineers have just opened in the unit opposite him.

I had a chat to Dean and Gary as they were both there. Turns out that they'd been open less than a week and are both ex-Newcastle OPC service techs with nearly 17 years service between them. Had a long chat about cars and what they do and will be offering, going to get them to do my next service. Standard rates are £50 per hour or £40 for the older stuff!

I've no affiliation other than they seem decent guys and certainly know their stuff, will report back when I get some work done by them.

Well, I dropped my car into Dean & Gary the day after Fastlane for a 12k mile service and fitting some performance parts too.

To say I'm very happy with their work is a complete understatement!

I expected to be under the bonnet with my zip ties anally retentively clipping all my new vacuum hoses into neat straight lines after they'd finished. I've been done out of a job, as everything was done beyond what I expected and at a great price too.

Judging by the number of Porsches that have been in and out of their doors over the last few weeks I think the secret might be out!
