Cup wheels on Ebay

I'm thinking of keeping an eye on these Cup wheels currently up for auction:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=390041873342

I'm a bit confused about the description though. They claim to Cup 2 off a turbo, but look like Cup 1's. The part numbers don't match up with PET, and the rear offset neither.
Anyone able to shed any light?
Assuming they are originals, would they fit my Targa (currently running Cup 1 reps)?

Paul.

Paul,

I'd certainly agree they look like Cup 1s, but the part numbers and offsets do seem strange. Checking on PET I'm guessing that they have a typo in the part numbers. 965.362.124.05 is a 7.5J ET65 wheel used on a 968 and 965.362.128.00 is a 9J ET55 rear for the same car.

Assuming the assumption is correct you will need some 10-15mm spacers for the front. The rears will almost certainly be OK as they are.

Regards

Dave

Ok, I now believe the numbers should be:
965-362-164-05 & 965-362-168-00

I've asked the seller to confirm. This raises another couple of questions.
1. If from a 928, will the wheels be heavier/stronger than 964 variants due to the higher weight of a 928 (not sure I'll get an answer to this!)?
2. I have 5mm shims on the front at the moment which I could move to the rear if I now require 10-15 spacers at the front.
3. I'd need longer studs for the front, so should I get new studs (what's reqd to remove the old ones?), or go for spacers with studs already installed?
Apologies for lots of questions!

Paul.

H&R do 17mm bolt on spacers to widen the track. I have these on the front and 28mm on the rear with et55 offset Cup 1s.

Arches are rolled but you will be in 10mm so should fit fine. There will probably fit without spacers. Maybe on full lock they will foul if you run 225s. 205s will be fine.

Don't mess about with shims.
