hmm... not my type of thing... I like the original clock... it's also a stop watch for when you have a passenger to check your 0-60 times...I wonder how many other performance cars back in the 80's had a stop watch fitted as standard?.....:) Pete

I think if it's the right colour, would macth better, maybe fitted flush. What drinks do u drink? I use my car daily, and I normally drink monster, e.c.t 500ml can. I place it between hand brake a seat belt. Fits perfect, easy 2 get 2 e.c.t don't work same on panssangers side. I think Iv got the trim u need, can't rember if the fixing tab broke off or not. Looking forward 2 this single din clock e.c.t, was using my stop click yesterday checking some 80-100 times

Mazda MX-5 NB clocks are rubbish, thats why everyone changes them for BMW E36 DIN cubby clocks.

Does this look out of place? Can't make my mind up.

It's not fixed there, but it would fit.

Has anyone got one of those panels spare I can cut up?

Iv took a look on eBay. There's single din cup holders that can be fit where radio is and fit radio below? Easy 2 turn back. Vw lopo ones look like there suit, maybe u could make one work in the space left after one with a clock Or there's a few that can be mounted in the trim by the glove box. I would say 2003 Nissan Almera n16 5dr styling looks like it was macth the buttons and graphics. also e39 look ok

Terry, can these DIN mounted cup holders cope with the angle (15°-20° at a guess) and are they short enough to fit in the far shorter than DIN depth available?

Fair point, there eject square 90 deg from the face by the look off it. Off course there prob be in way off the heater controls once in use. But would they get used often? Down I the side off my seat works 4. Wouldn't want encourage anyone eating and drinking any way ;)
