Cup 1 Wheels on my 964 C4 project

I am getting close to having my 964 C4 project back on the road. I am now trying to figure out the set up but first I need to make a decision on what wheels I'm going to run. I have the following Cup 1 available

2 x 17x7 ET55
2 x 17x8 ET52
2 x 17x9 ET55

The car is lowered but as a say I have not set up everything yet as I want to decide on wheels first.

I have convinced myself that I'll run the 7's on the front, and the 9's on the rear. I suspect I'll need to run a 5mm spacer all round but not sure. I think I might need some rack stops on the front to avoid rubbing at full lock... but not experimented yet.

Has anyone got any experience of this set up and can point out anything I might now have considered? I would be useful to know before I proceed much further.

Any help appreciated.
