May 14th Cumbria International Car Show near Kendal
Some great driving roads in a run up to Kendal to join R18 for their annual show. If you would like to come along, then you need to book your spot for the show in advance. Meet up at Wetherby Services on the A1 at 9.00 and head out 9.15 and head out on some great roads for about a 2 hour fun drive to the event.

has anyone who has registered for this event received a pass yet?

If you noticed on the registration page, you should get an email at some point in April which you print out.

We are going as well, but are staying overnight on Saturday in the Lakes and travelling to the show from the west of Kendal, so will not join you for the drive over. We've registered through the website to be in the PCGB stand. We are also staying overnight in the LKes on Sunday so making a weekend of it.

How long can we leave it to book tickets? Wife in hospital at the mo so dont want to book just yet in case we can't make it. Fancying a hotel in Cumbria after the show for a bit of R and R.

Talking to the R18 organisers today, the gates don't open until 11.00 so we don't need to be there before 10.30 so original plans hold.

Apparently the Porsche Area is now full so it is no longer possible to buy tickets if you don't already have them.

sorry guys I am no longer able to make today.

I hope you have a great day out and enjoy the drive over.

I was going to suggest going on the A65 which is nice and easy and return Sedburgh, Hawes which is a great road.

Hey up,

Sorry you missed a great day today Mark.

Not the best of runs this morning but quite entertaining when I was actually holding up a caravan.

(not a drive Lisa would have enjoyed). In saying that thanks Dave for taking the helm.

Met Phil Mr Sheene, local lads and business men Martin and Dave who only lived 5 mins away from

us for 16 years, and we used Martins business very regularly, what a small world, gud to meet you all.

Great event, cars, people and Karen liked the horse box gin bar. Chris and Linda in high spirits and good to see ya both(well Linda yes)

Run this morning got a bit spirited when Karen wanted the toilet, thanks Ingleton WC.

Cheers guys see ya all soon Jon.

How did you hold up a caravan???

Almost feeling human now, really annoyed to have missed a driving opportunity [:'(]
