(Worst I've got no mates post ever!)
My nearest and dearest bought me the "Racing Car Experience" at Croft circuit for my birthday. If you collect Tesco vouchers, you can trade them in for vouchers for this which make the deal somewhat more attractive.
Anyway, I have booked myself in on Friday 3rd July at 1.20pm and there are currently 2 slots starting at that time and 3 more from 2.20pm currently available.
For £180 (less Tesco vouchers!) you get a 2 1/2 hour "experience" comprising of being driven round the circuit in a hot hatch to learn the route, some laps in a Porsche Cayman with an instructor then some laps in a single seater race car finished off with a flying lap driven by the instructor (in what I don't know). Full details at http://www.croftcircuit.co.uk/clubcarddeals.php
I appreciate that this might be a bit soft for those of you who have raced around Croft before but if, like me, you haven't done a track day before it looks like a nice day out with a chance to drive a Porsche round a track with some instruction.
Anyone fancy it?
