I have seen some Mat black vehicles recently and they just look so last year ??

I saw my first matt black wrap on a Conti at the MPH '06 show. It did look as though it would be naff as hell by the next week, and personally I think it achieved that perfectly.

If you have a nice car, why cover it up? It's like having a beautiful girlfriend, and putting a brown paper bag over her head in the misguided hope that people will be even more impressed by the enhanced looks. [&:]

That said, older, cheap cars do lend themselves to the "rat" look. I think that 944 in matt black with white wheels could work, in the way a £200K car with the same look would be a waste. I guess a lot of it is about trying too hard, or being "in the know". Would you have more respect for someone driving a new Jeep Wrangler in full camouflage livery, or an early Defender in it's proper BL paint colour?

So I got my new headlight despite it passing the mot, still think its worth changing though. Any instructions gratefully received please!

Had a bash with no idea, and to be fair its nothing more complicated than unscrewing and screwing a few bits. Took me about 45 mins but the bulb was very dim so changed it for the old one which was very fiddly, would have probably been better to remove unit again but couldn't be ar5ed. New old bulb much brighter so job done in my lunch hour, took about an hour and 15mins.
