I had the "Le Mans" wheels on my first Porsche and they were fitted with 205/60 x 15. Back then an incredible tyre from Bridgestone called the RE 71 as available which were fantastic in the wet and quite long lasting.

I changed from the standard 14" rims to the 4 bolt 15" option (spider) wheels and have fitted Continental Contact 2 size 205/60 R 15 tyres. The car seemed to handle and ride better as a result.
However, I'm not sure Continental still do Contact 2 in that size though they do an Eco Contact 6.
BTW the manual for my '79 car shows them as an option wheel.
Also lists tyre size 185/65 SR 15 M+S (or what ever that rating is these days) as a winter tyre.

Size, brand or both?
Whats the intended end use of the car and look you are intending to achieve? Originality/OEM, improved driving dynamics, modified?
Budget for investing in rubber? Range from £50 to £250 per corner
