I`d say its a space frame chassis throughout with the tub bolted on a la my old westfield and Ginetta or even an Ultima.

Lots spent IMO but really nice, I`d love to see more detailed close up pictures of it as the quality engineering looks superb (at a distance)

With a monocoque contruction there is rigidity from the A post backwards, so a space frame beyond this point is unnecessary.

Logic would suggest that the front chassis rails are retained and the inner and outer wings removed. This then requires the strut tops tying in and any additional bracing to replace the support offered by the wing sections.

IIRC, much of the above was theory was exploited by Porsche themselves when building the first GT1's. In this instance a 911 centre section was retained with scaffolding at front and rear.
