We know all about the recession yadda yadda yadda yawn .... well a friend of mine from the Kitcar club is putting together a wee run for the 25th April. Nothing serious - Arrive, Drive, Enjoy the countryside and the craic. There is no car club affiliation as such but if you have sommit interesting bring it along. Porsche is in there for sure..... [
] There is a crew in MX-5's, Caterhams, an old Volvo and a few in Classics as well so hopefully it will be a varied mix ...! This is not a definative timetable but he will have a better notion as he gets things going...! Friday 24-Apr-2009 7:00 pm Meet and greet at the Connemara Coast Hotel Furbo8:00 pm DinnerAfter dinner retire to bar ....! Saturday 25-Apr-2009 9:30 am Assemble at hotel carpark. There will be an infromal briefing from the tour guide10:00 am The group will be lead through Spiddle and up around the coast11:30 am Stop at Carna (nice views...!)13:00 am Stop for Soup Tae and Sandwiches approx €6 per head 14:00 pm Start and go through Clifden15:30 pm Stop at Kylemore Abbey and get a guided tour of both castle and gardens €8 per head 16:30 pm Head back to hotel18:30 pm Shower change and ready for dinner20:00 pm DinnerAfter Dinner retire to bar...!
