I've re-read the Cayman S brochure and am a little confused about the VarioCam Plus feature. I understood that above 4,400rpm it kicks in and provides greater torque and power.
However, the brochure seems to imply that VarioCam Plus is available all the time and improves low-end torque, providing 260Nm of torque at just 1,500rpm, as well as top-end power.
