Confused by mat installation

I'm confused how to install a set of genuine porsche floor mats.
I've got four mounting clips to go with the front mats, two short and two long ones. I presume they bolt under the seat rails? However I can't figure out which side the long ones go on... the short ones seem to fit both sides. Should I have got four short ones (all the same length)? The OPC took my registration number and promised the set was right.
At the moment I have a short one on the drivers side, going out from the rail at 90 degrees towards the handbrake, and another short one on the passenger side, going straight out in the direction of the seat rail. Not sure where the long ones go?

I dont think the long ones fit, not sure how it is on a 968 but perhaps they are different. When my car was at Southbound they had a spare set of short ones and so I now have those too, long ones went in the bin...

Had a double check of this today, I have the short ones on the passenger side and the longs ones are on the drivers side.

I've posted the scans Chris sent me (with his permission)

I still can't understand how the long ones can fit. I'm 100 miles away from the car at the moment, but I remember the grommet for the mounting on my mats not being in line with the seat rail, so that I have to use the short one going out at a 90 degree angle from the rail.

I'll take some pictures when I next see the car if I'm still stuck!

Correct - as you can see from Rob's post - which saves me trying to save the files as PDF's rather than jpg's!
