Collected Clubbie Today from GT1

Well, the car is now completely sorted, gone through top to tail, every nut and bolt, new bushes, steering rack, by-pass, set up etc.....drives now exactly as she should....[:D]
 
Des, many thanks for letting me try out the new improved clubbie down our favourite, private test track [:D]

Compared to before the car is now a revelation, much more stable and planted, probably the best feedback of any 64 I have driven.[:)]
The boys at Gt1 certainly did a good job.

Glad you have realised the true potential of your purchase, a great platform to enhance your driving skills, I bet you can't wait to track it now.
 
Des, have you renewed the suspension or just had it set-up/geometry/corner weighted?

What else have they changed?

I am thinking about replacing mine when I get JZM to replace the suspension, but talking to Steve there he recommends I don't bother as replacement ones were not very good. Recommended a new wishbone...

Get Olav(Speedservice) to fit Uniball wishbones at Spa. He does the swap in a couple of hours. About 1200Euro p/ex

He did mine before the last Spa day and it is a huge improvement. No rubber involved.

You have proven, yet again, why the boys at GT-1 are the business! They really did look after my baby well. They sure know a tamping pin from a carling trunion![;)][:D]

See your back from the MIPIM p155 UP......Kevin been beach clean for 3 years, unlike the vast majority of my peers...I can name and shame and just not the beach!!!![;)]
