Hi Everyone

Like an idiot I accidently put my jump pack on the battery the wrong way round last week.
Car seems to be running ok except that now the antilock icon is permanently on.
Any ideas as to issues. Have I blown the sensors? How does the system work? I presume I've not cooked the ECU as everything else is working fine.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You may have cooked the ABS ECU. Try unplugging it then putting it back in. I am sure you can reset it somehow.

check the fuse for the abs. it might only be that, how do i know?? i did the same, inc my radio!!! still not looked at the radio yet, but i hope its the inline fuse at the rear or something simples!

Thanks.

I thought that it may be a fuse as I guess that the Antilock should come on and then go off after a few seconds when the car is started.
I would assume the default is illuminated.

Not looking now tho as is cats and dogs here!!

Thanks again will look tomoz.

abs ecu is behind the carpet in the drivers (uk cars) foot well near the internal boot opening switch

No progress yet. Now locked out of the car as battery is flat. Going to have a look now and check relay, fuse and abs ecu.
