Hi all, has anybody experienced on a 996 turbo 2003 model the following problem, the clutch reservoir keeps leaking presumably out the top as if the system is pressurising and coming out of the pin hole in the top of the lid. the car is the X-50 model plus DMS tuning e.g ECU, Headers, CATS and exhaust. i am going be to be booking it in with porsche this coming week just hope its covered under the porsche warranty. any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

cheers phil

Is this the reservoir to the left, under the plastic panel, as you look at the car, bonnet open?
If so I think its a common thing. Happened on mine, took it to an OPC who said it was just over-filled, drained some out (with a syringe) and its been fine.

Hi, Its just happened to me this weekend, but it appeared that the top had become loose as its been ok since service 5000 miles ago.

Thanks for your replies, Yes it is the reservoir to the left i have drained it once and it was ok for a couple of weeks then it did it again so i called out porsche warranty and the guy said it looked like it was over filled so he drained it and its been ok until now, which makes me feel there is a problem i havn't spoken to porsche yet that is my next step. Thanks again for your feedback will keep you posted. Phil
