Clubsport wheel centres

Whats the right wheel centre caps for an RS Clubsport?

Mine has black crests.
RS badges seem to be the most common alternative judging from my photo library.
There's a few with the the "no cap" option, which as it happens I quite like as it seems to suit a CS.
Coloured crests looks wrong.

Is there such a thing as correct?

I think, the CS had the RS caps.

In real life it used to be the no cap option.
From today´s point of view it´s hard to understand that these cars were just junk in the late 90s. They were used in Clubsport and all sorts of racing, noone paid any attention to things like centre caps.

See the little round bit in the middle there?
For completeness the black bit is a tyre and the silver bit is a wheel...

correct me if i'm wrong but the RS caps came along with the 993RS so the Porsche crest badges were only ones fitted from factory ?

As far as i'm aware it was a convex plastic cap with black crest. Commando on a CS is a good look!

964RS Technical bulletin, goes into detail describing the wheels...No mention of centre caps...but the pics all show the Porsche crest in silver to match the wheels.

Now that you say it, that´s probably correct.

When I got my Cup car from the factory, there were no caps.

This is sounding right: all the factory 993RS pictures have RS caps (although theirs always seem to have the letters the right way up!).

Most 964s seem to be mainly black crests or some silver. In fairness to Mr Schmitz then he got them both right.

I'm taking it to genteel car event so maybe the "commando" look will be a bit edgy.

Laurence, I'm sure this is correct.

I have the originals for my car --- aluminium centres with a black Porsche crest.

I also have the original locking wheel nuts .... with the long keys ... and the plastic caps !!
