Club Insurance Valuation

Got my club insurance valuation back (after a few months and a little bit of chasing) today. But it was well worth the wait!

Condition was rated as excellent for the age (1988) and the mileage (74k) and I was surprised/proud/pleased to get a valuation figure of . . .

Have a guess, will post up the answer later tonight ;)

Northern924 - no cheating just because you know already!

Maybe I should start insulting people more then!

Will post the result in an hour or so.

It's a good job Sc0tty isn't still on here, he'd be fuming as my valuation was for £8k.

The car really does want for nothing and is either being pampered in the garage or driven enthusiastically in the playground of Northumberland and it's country roads.

I think he'd agree that it's a good thing to get an insurance-approved value.

What people forget is that their insurance covers them for book price, which is basically nothing. Really, nothing. We are talking about a few hundred for a Lux, perhaps £2K for an S2.

Don't be surprised when you're insulted by the payout you're offered, Get an agreed value that really covers buying an equivalent car and bringing it up to the same condition. Club valuations are insurance-industry approved, and free.

For what it's worth, and I don't do the official valuations, I'd easily have valued Scotty's car at a whisker under £10K. It's a shame he lost so much value by making enemies of everyone in the 944 community. [&o]

OK I can post now lol

Having seen Eldavo's car close up many a time, it deserves the valuation, car really does want for nothing and look stunning and with such low milage it would be very hard to replace.
Great news Eldavo [:D]
