hi, im doing a track day at donnington tommorow (friday)[ ] and my climate control has decided to stick on at full heat[
] and my climate control has decided to stick on at full heat[ ], i have looked under the bonnet and i beleive that i have found the valve that would direct the hot water from the block to the heater matrix (this is a plastic unit in between the engine and the bulk head with a thin green plastic pipe coming off it - it has a sliding arm of sorts that comes from the water pipework to the green pipe this is marked auf <-> zu) what i am thinking of doing is setting this to either 'auf' or 'zu' (off / on OR hot / cold?) can anyone tell me if this sounds like a good or bad idea.
