I've just had the shock of my life as I peered into the front air intake grills. It was like a dustbin in there! Lots and lots of leaves, stones, chewing gum, fag ends and other crud. It took me half an hour to clear out as much as I could. It's not easy cleaning the intakes. I used a rag taped onto a small bamboo stick. The shape of the intakes means that it's easier for rubbish to get into the intake than out. Heaven knows how much the efficiency of the radiators must have been reduced.
