Classic Tax Discs

What with the demise of the tax disc I have decided to get a classic disc for my 996 cab.
I looked around on the net for an original but in the end decided to have one made, for the original first registration,01-03-01
I found this great company, www.creativetaxdiscs.co.uk on Google, (I have no affiliation with this company purely a customer) they can make
an exact replica apart from the perforated holes although the holes are printed but once in the windscreen it looks real just fill out all your
cars details and they do the rest they even add the correct duty for the car and year.
Only £10:49 inc. p&p for two tax discs.
I ordered them on Thursday and they arrived the following Monday.
Great product and great service check them out.

That's great, thanks. [:)]

I bought an original one off ebay for a couple of quid, but of course it's not for my vehicle.

Yesterday afternoon I removed the last and now expired tax disc from the windscreen of my car and replaced it with a reproduction of the car's first tax disc. Google provided a number of names, but I got in touch with www.poplargreg.com (who is based in Hereford and who provided a fine service btw) and the discs supplied not only incorporated the car's details, but also the issuing stamp of the County Council where the car was first registered, together with the date of registration. The disc looks very good on the car, and I have put another in the car's history file.

Arfor.

Great to see that there's a market. I've had a few comments about my 1991 tax disc, and if you can afford the time to explain it then there's something nice about having what would have been the original tax disc on the car.

Following on to this earlier post, I had an email through today from them which included the link below.....

May make interesting reading!
