Region 8 had their concours on Sunday at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire.

One or two frontrunners there including a 968 (3rd in Visitors Class)

and this "S". All the spoilers, splitter, trim is as delivered according to the owner! Think current owner added the stickers.....

I will bet my house the second car was not "from factory" still nice though, do we know the owner of the 968 ? looks familiar ?

The second car is a proper dogs dinner. People cant seem to grasp that Ventiler simply means valve in German; and that the 16 Ventiler rubbing strips were an option on the 944S (damned expensive too) - it isnt a model name and alone, it doesnt mean anything!

My car has those 968 sill covers on, the previous owner only put them on to cover up the fact that the front wings are rotten [:D]

The decals and Porsche badge make that car an abomination!

Looks like you got a much nicer spot this year, shame we could come as we really enjoyed last year and the weather was great again.

The 968 was in the TIPEC concours a few weeks ago too. I recognise the speed line wheels as I am going through a bit of a wheel fetish right now. As for the silver car with valves, where did all these ex Boxster wheels come from? There seem to be more of them on our 944s than there are Boxsters themselves.

Theyre particularly cheap at the moment: Ive seen several sets recently for half of what youd have to pay for clean straight Design 90s. Along with Chinese steering wheels, bling-stereos, assorted spoilers, sills and other tat, they make what I regard as a Coxster...

Cant remember the 968 owners name but he's a Scot living in Manchester!

The S is a really nice car under the stickers!
