Changing Registers

968er

New member
Well as the 993 has been sold and the new Porsche arrives tomorrow, allegiances have been changed and am away to reside in one of the water cooled registers[:D]

Of course you might not get totally rid of me as I may just poke my nose in every now and again!

I'm on my way as well, although I'm not sure where I'm going to end up.
On the hunt for late 3.2 or early 930.
Will keep an eye on this forumn to see if the old girl returns with the new owner.

William,
A KN?
Please come back and write us a 993 vs KN review at some stage.
I've always said I'd never buy one, but I've been so impressed by my 993 that when my 4x4 "bike carrier" is next worn out I might actually be tempted (but not to replace the 993[;)])

Mark,

Had my heart set on a Maser Gransport, but although it was a great car and beautifully put together it did not give me the wow factor I was looking for. Possibly to close to a 911!

The Cayenne was not even on my short list but when I was at the Maserati garage the OPC is next door and a Cayenne Turbo was sitting there looking very mean and moody. Arranged a test drive, then another in the 'S' and I was smitten.

The Turbo delivers so much power and can be used as a standard 4x4 or as a very capable sports car because of the PASM and the sport setting on the dampers. 450 bhp and over 600 NM torque, fantastic[:D]
